Guidelines for
inclusion
in the Long Gourd on-line data base
1. Long Gourd must be at
least 85 inches long measured from end to end according to the
GPC rules.
If the parents of a
qualifying Long Gourd did not qualify in previous years, they will be
added to the data base to maintain the genetics.
2. All Long Gourds
of at least 85 inches measured according to the
GPC rules
3. A
maximum of five (5) qualifying long gourd entries per year per
grower will be accepted for inclusion in the Long Gourd data base.
4.
When
submitting entries to the list please include length in inches and
decimals of inches (999.99),
grower name, location (state, province or country), year,
female and male
parents (length, grower and year for each), and placement at competition. See example below.
5. Please
include a digital picture of grower with grower's best
qualifying long gourd
when submitting each season's entries.
but not taken to a public
competition will be classified as UOL (Unofficial Length).
